Marielle Kraft writes the kind of indie pop that feels like a late-night FaceTime with your best friend: honest, infectious, and deeply relatable. The self-taught singer/songwriter now based in Nashville has built a reputation for transforming personal moments into striking, universally resonant songs. Her confessional writing style — often likened to that of Taylor Swift and MUNA — has earned her critical acclaim for telling stories that haven’t been widely told in mainstream queer culture: stories of stable love, rooted lives, and the journey to finally feeling secure.

Since pivoting from a career as a middle school English teacher to pursue music, Kraft has released three EPs and a series of viral singles, including “10x Better,” “Search History,” and most recently, “Carroll,” inspired by the Artemis II NASA mission, which landed her a personal invitation to Johnson Space Center to meet the astronauts themselves. 

Kraft’s dynamic live shows have become a hallmark of her career. She has performed on national tours, supported artists such as Mt. Joy, Ava Max, and GIRLI, and taken the stage at major festivals including Summerfest and Nashville Pride. Kraft’s highly anticipated debut full-length album, The Right People Will Love You, arrived on September 12th, followed by a robust, 20 city national headlining tour. She released the deluxe edition of the album on May 15th, coupled with a sold out self-authored book detailing her process of building the world of her debut album era. From hand-sourcing 40 iPod Shuffles for a pre-release album campaign that sold out in under 20 seconds, to selling out venues across the country, Marielle Kraft is poised to solidify her place as a personal and defining voice in modern indie pop — one that speaks directly to the heart of a generation navigating love, loss, and everything in between.
