Writing “Secure” in the Cabin - 2023

I had already written the verses and chorus of “Secure” in a co-writing session a few weeks prior to this cabin week, but the song felt incomplete without a bridge. I spent one evening in the cabin writing this bridge and working out the guitar arrangement (we originally wrote it only on piano). It made me fall in love with this song even more and ultimately decide to include it on the album.
